The Aerial hoop (a.k.a Lyra) is a circular steel frame, that is suspended from the ceiling. This peice of equipment is used to create graceful shapes and stunning forms around a spinning circular frame.
Aerial silks (a.k.a tissue/fabric) are 2 peices of material that hang from the ceiling. Drops, rolls and wraps are all part of this aerial disipline, create beautiful lines and enhance stamina and strength as you build your combinations and routines.
Static trapeze is a metal bar with ropes attached to each side. This is a nice peice of equipment to start with if youre brand new to aerial .
